Pro Tools 201: Pro Tools Production Essentials will teach you the core concepts and skills needed to operate a Pro Tools HD 9 system in a professional studio environment. The course continues to build on the fundamental concepts and topics covered in the Pro Tools 100-series of courses. Access to the 201 exam requires passing all previous exams. If you want to be a AVID - certified Pro Tools | Operator, you'll need to complete this course and then do either 210P (Post) or 210M (Music) to be ready for the AVID certification exam. How long does it run for? Pro Tools 201 runs over 2 days. What skills do I need? This course continues to build on the fundamental concepts and topics covered in the Pro Tools 100-series courses. It is a Digidesign requirement for certification that you complete the 110 course before attempting this one. Access to the 201 exam requires passing all previous exams. What will I learn? How will I be assessed? Participants who successfully finish the course will be awarded with a Certificate of Completion jointly awarded by UTS and AVID. After successfully taking the 201 examination online at AVID's training and education website, you will be ready for 210M (Music) or 210P (Post-production) AVID Courses. After that, you'll qualify to take the AVID online certification exam. What course materials will I need? When you start the course, you'll be given a copy of 'Pro Tools 201: Pro Tools Production' and a companion DVD which is included in your course fees. How do I register?
