Pro Tools 210P: Post-production Techniques covers techniques for working with Pro Tools in a professional post-production environment. Concepts and skills learned in 101, 110, and 201 are reinforced with practical post-specific examples.

What skills do I need?
You need to have completed the Pro Tools 201 course. Access to the Operator Certification exam requires that all previous exams have been passed.
What will I learn?
At the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Synchronize Pro Tools for audio post
- Work with linear video in Pro Tools
- Work with non-linear video in Pro Tools
- Import digital media into the Pro Tools timeline
- Work with video tracks
- Record dialog in Pro Tools
- Describe the role of a dialog editor
- Organize your session by working with Digibase
- Use accurate mixing terminology
- Set layback options
How will the course be run?
The course will run over 3 days and will be divided into:
- Seminar/Demonstration
- Structured Practical Exercises
How will I be assessed?
Participants who successfully finish the course will be awarded with a Certificate of Completion jointly awarded by UTS and AVID. You'll also qualify to take the AVID Pro Tools | Operator Certification exam online at AVID's Training and Education Website. Once you've successfully completed the examination, AVID will award you Pro Tools | Operator Post-production Certification. Terms and conditions of certification are available on the AVID website
What course materials will I need?
When you start the course, you'll be given a copy of 'Pro Tools 210P: Post-production Techniques' and a companion DVD, which is included in your course fees.
